Trip Summary
If you only have one free day is it worth going on a safari? Yes, it sure is! You will be astonished at the amount and variety of wildlife that you can see in just a daytrip to Tarangire National Park.
Itinerary
It would be highly unusual not to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, warthogs, and lions. Except for rhinoceros all African plains safari animals are present here. Especially during the.dry months (January - mid March and July - October) wildlife congregate along the Tarangire River, the only water source during dry season. Just the landscape alone is worth the trip with the giant baobab trees dotting the landscape.
Day 1: After an early breakfast at your hotel we drive to Tarangire National Park and go straight into game viewing. During the day we will pause for a picnic style lunch and continue game viewing until late afternoon when we will return you to Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport/Moshi for the end of the itinerary.
